Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Must be disciplined to follow detailed instructions and comply with procedural compliance

  • Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance actions using approved procedures

  • Accurately and clearly document repair actions

  • Test and accept assemblies per approved acceptance procedures

  • Maintain work stations and shop equipment

  • Use precision measurement tooling such as dial depth gauges and torque wrenches

  • Perform crane operations within the facility

  • Support continuous process improvement and innovation

  • Perform Quality Assurance Inspection and reviews

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Career Break of at least two (2) years

  • High School Diploma or GED and 0-2 plus years related experience

  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and able to wear proper PPE such as steel toe shoes, nitrile gloves and other safety gear

  • Ability to pass a physical exam for an Explosive Handler position/Department of Transportation (DOT) Explosive Driver

  • Ability to meet annual screening per OPNAV 5530/1 {Report of Screening for Personnel Assigned AA&E Security Related Duties). Items checked include, but not limited to, Criminal History Record Information, Foreign influence, Financial History, Emotional and mental Disorders

  • Must be a US Citizen, located in Yorktown, VA and have or be able to obtain a U.S. Department Of Defense (DOD) Secret security clearance, minimum active Interim Secret clearance to start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA Degree/2 year technical

  • 4 plus years related experience or technical school certificate

  • 8 years of working in a military ordnance pro

  • Current DoD Security Clearance - Secret

Salary Range: $23 - $27

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
