Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced cyber information assurance Business Analyst for support to a large federal agency. The individual will supporta CDM group and various agencyprojects. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. Developers design, develop and test application/ interfaces and create technical documentation for applications. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Description of Work:
Become knowledgeable on the CDM technical requirements for SSA's CDM program. Understand your role in CDM activities.
Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products, including design of high level dashboards, using data feeds from different network tools.
Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
May prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities.
Bachelor's degree and4 years of related experience, Master's degree and 2 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of applied work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in designing, architecting, and maintaining security software and security hardware such as servers, infrastructure appliance chassis, blades, and other devices.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with VMware
Ability to obtain a position of public trust.
Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration or similar government agencies
Understanding of business processes supporting IT programs, networks, and/or cybersecurity programs
Understanding of technology, work flows, IT reporting, etc.
Significant understanding of SPLUNK and other network security tools.
Experience in designing, developing and producing dashboards for senior leadership
