Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Computer Systems Analyst to support a project at a large Federal agency. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
Description of Work:
Provide expert analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of systems control software including operating systems, multi-user utilities, locally prepared subroutines, and inter-computer communications and vendor proprietary software for the multiplatform environments.
Develop data processing standards and other planning documents in accordance with the objectives and the work plan.
Provide expert advice to systems components on technical capabilities and limitations, developments, and other matters related to mainframe operating system software.
Provide expert technical support to computer operations and applications programming personnel.
Prepare and present oral and written recommendations to management on the feasibility of implementing new or revised operating systems software.
Bachelor's Degree and 14 years of relevant experience, OR Master's Degree and 12 years of relevant experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 18 years of relevant experience in an IT field in lieu of a degree.
7 years of a combined experience with any of the following: Mainframe system programming, Support of J2EE applications, Systems Engineer, Supporting custom applications.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.
- Prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration.
