Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients, is seeking a Sr. Principal Business Process Analyst to join our team in Woodlawn, MD. Our program is on the cutting-edge of health care reform and Information Technology modernization in the United States and is making a difference in the lives of all Americans. The ideal candidate will join a fast-paced Agile Scrum team modernizing mission critical systems for our federal Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) client.

This position will have responsibility for software testing in Agile Scrum Team, working directly with the development and partner teams to perform system testing, functional testing, and integration testing. The ideal candidate will be a proficient software tester with scrum master experience in leading teams to meet their commitments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate shall perform duties and responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to, the following tasks.

  • Lead testing for software changes in an Agile team.

  • Develop and execute test plans and test cases for functional, system, integration, and volume regression (VRT) testing and produce test validation reports.

  • Collaborate with client and project teams to ensure design and development meets requirements and CMS needs

  • Lead scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog grooming and development, and other agile ceremonies

  • Notify management of any issues and concerns such as delays, design changes, requirements updates, etc.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must possess the following minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related engineering discipline with 10 years of relevant experience -OR- a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related engineering discipline with 8 years of relevant technical experience

  • Experience developing and executing test plans and test cases for functional, system, integration, and volume regression (VRT) testing

  • Experience in project reporting including test validation reports

  • Experience with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

  • Experience with integration testing of CMS MEPS applications including MEPBS and MARx.

  • Experience testing in IBM Mainframe with z/OS, DB2, Cobol, JCL, and CICS technologies.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with both co-workers and partners, provide demos, and lead testing meetings.

  • Proven experience as an Agile Scrum Master in leading teams, tracking testing metrics, support planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming

  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (green card holder status)

  • Must be able to obtain a US Public Trust clearance Preferred Skills: Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Experience working with the federal government, particularly with Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

  • Experience working on Medicare Beneficiary or Provider related systems.
