Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced cyber information assurance Business Analyst for support to a large federal agency. The individual will supporta CDM group and various agencyprojects. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. Developers design, develop and test application/ interfaces and create technical documentation for applications. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Description of Work:

  • Perform as a network technician and VMWare technician and VMWare expert in support of an Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program

  • Work onsite with the customer's technical teams and leadership to build relationships and find ways to leverage and maximize technical investment recommendations

  • Support the contractor team with Agency's CDM infrastructure program, in all actions, capabilities, and processes

  • Support as required all CDM initiatives and security policies.

  • Rapidly gain an understanding of the customer's VMWare network configurations, processes, policies, and procedures, in support of the CDM program

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities.

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 Years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree and 5 Years of relevant work experience OR a minimum 11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with design, architect and maintenance of a VMware vSphere and vCenter environment.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience designing/Building virtual networks, performance-tune vSphere clusters, ensure resiliency, and maintain underlying hardware.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in applying patches and upgrade VMware software.

  • Ability to obtain a position of public trust.

  • Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.

  • Network certifications or other professional security or a plus: CISSP, network device certifications

  • Deep technical knowledge and understanding of VMWare network configurations, devices and appliances and their processes and procedures

  • General understanding and knowledge of networking tools

  • General understanding and knowledge of the technical aspects and requirements of the Federal Government's Continuous Diagnostics and Monitoring (CDM) Program.
