Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an experienced cyber information assurance Business Analyst for support to a large federal agency. The individual will supporta CDM group and various agencyprojects. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. Developers design, develop and test application/ interfaces and create technical documentation for applications. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Description of Work:
Become knowledgeable on the CDM technical requirements for SSA's CDM program. Understand your role in CDM activities.
Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
Design, manage, and maintain agency SIEM infrastructure.
Maintenance, configuration and implementing products, appliances and devices on the SSA's network
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.
Bachelor's degree and7 years of related experience, Master's degree and 5 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of applied work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
Minimum of 2 years' experience and in-depth knowledge of designing, upgrading, maintaining and implementing network devices on a large scale enterprise.
Minimum of 2 years' experience and working knowledge with Linux and VMware
Minimum of 1 year experience with developing documentation with processes and procedures
Minimum of 1 year experience in proposing, implementing automation features in a large enterprise environment
Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing and tailoring reporting from network security tools.
Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearance
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration or similar government agencies a plus
Understanding of business processes supporting IT programs, networks, and/or cyber security programs
Understanding of network technologies, work flows, IT reporting, etc.
Must be a self-starter, position is remote from the other team members.
Must communicate clearly to team members, be comfortable with coordination, collaboration and communication when performing network activities
