Where will you find innovation and technology? Right here at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking a Microsoft Integration Architect to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
Description of Work:
Design and develop application integration and deployment strategies using Microsoft applications, utilities and integration & migration tools.
Design, configure, deploy and maintain a Software Distribution Application.Build, configure, test and deploy Collections, Packages, Advertisements and Query packages for software distribution.
Design, develop and implement automation tools for managing and maintaining validation and test environments.
Manage and support application and platform transition to virtual and cloud based environments (i.e. SharePoint).
Monitor and resolve issues on the application deployment infrastructure.
Evaluate performance and functional impact of products and components prior to production release.
Research, analyze, recommend and support alternative solutions for the infrastructure testing environments.
Provide problem resolution for application deployments in an enterprise wide systems model.
Manage Client Health, Application Catalog, Asset Intelligence, and Compliance Settings.
Document features, updates and configuration changes applied to the virtual test environments.
Create detailed documentation and providing training/mentoring on issues encountered and the solutions/alternatives encountered in a production environment.
Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Information Technology or Computer Systems and 10 years IT work experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience with following Microsoft Technologies: SCCM, SCOM, Azure, Active Directory.
Minimum of 2 years of experience Packaging and Scripting software deployments using object-oriented and web programming in SQL, VBScript, HTML, PowerShell
Minimum 2 years of experience using Active Directory and Group Policy
Must be able to obtain a public trust or higher clearance
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration:
Experience migrating to cloud based environments, (i.e. MS Azure, AWS
Experience supporting DevOps initiatives
Experience building, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting software distribution infrastructure
