Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Manager Team Leader 1 who will support several components of a large federal agency. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Description of Work:

  • Perform manager responsibilities for the task order including: planning, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, status reporting and be accountable for the overall performance of the task order.

  • Provide oversight and guidance to a team of resources on separate work orders with distinct project activities.

  • Perform program financial analyses and provide both external reporting to Government customer and internal reporting

  • Interface with program and functional management to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements

  • Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines

  • Prepare budgets for contract work and perform or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysisPerform various resource management process functions and oversee resource teams

  • Various staffing functions: create, monitor, and updating requisitions.

  • Review resumes, schedule interviews.

  • Create and provide the following to program management teams:

  • Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Complete (EAC), Baseline budgets, and re-plans

  • Variance analyses

  • Support the month end reporting requirements, monthly forecast and any ad hoc report requirements for project team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of applied experience. An additional four years ofrelated experience may be substituted for degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel utilizing v-lookups, conditional formatting, and pivot tables

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience performing and monitoring budgets

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with EVM

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with resource management

  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Prior Social Security Administration experience working in contract management team (CMT)

  • Experience in pricing and forecasting

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
