Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst who will support several projects a large federal agency. These positions will be located in Woodlawn, MD.
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. The qualified candidate should also have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Description of Work:
Responsible for providing assistance on requests coming from Help Desk, training teams, stakeholders, auditors, and users.
Work may include, but not limited to, assistance with user accounts, reports, and hardware configurations.
The user community of the applications/systems managed by customer and receive support enabling them to perform assigned duties
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant work experience OR a minimum8 years of relevant work experience as a Developer in development environment (such as Java/J2EE) in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in helpdesk supporting custom applications.
Minimum of 2 years' experience and Knowledge to document the work processes and products.
Minimum of 2 years' experience and Knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools
Minimum of 2 years' experience and Knowledge to prioritize many different projects and tasks based on the organizations needs and guidance from management
Minimum of 2 years' experience in strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Basic Knowledge in mainframe technologies languages.
Basic Knowledge in programming.
Knowledge in Development of the training material and user manuals for all applications.
Conducting training sessions for applications.
Taking in calls from the user communities and responding to request via emails
Develop and refine As-Is Business Process Documentation
Develop and refine To-Be Business Process Documentation
Provide weekly status reports.
