Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking an Admin Functional Support 4 to work as an Operations Assistant to the Deputy Program Manager. This position will be located in Woodlawn, MD .
The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Systems Management operating unit, which focuses on Healthcare IT solutions for our Federal, State, and Local government clients. The qualified candidate should also have communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Description of Work:
Works closely with a Deputy Program Manager in supporting project management and operations activities as needed
Interface with program and functional staff members
Gather metric data and prepare reports and present to the Deputy Program Manager for analysis
Develop MS Project schedules
Perform research and present the results to the Deputy Program Manager for analysis
Create and maintain data in MS Excel spreadsheets as directed
Create and maintain documents in MS Word as directed
Create presentations in MS PowerPoint as directed
Create flow diagrams, process diagrams in MS Visio as directed
Document meeting minutes
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
Enters data into various applications and databases as needed.
Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed for Admin Functional Support 3.
High school diploma and 8 years additional education and/or experience in an office setting
Minimum 7 years of experience working in an office setting performing one or more of the following functions: administrative assistant, office clerk, or office manager
Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel
Minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office
Minimum of 2 years of experience using various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, etc.
Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate ability to work under pressure
Experience using MS Project
