Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking multiple Principal Data Governance Leads to support the USACE program in the following locations: McLean VA.

The Data Governance Lead drives the Business Intelligence Center to solve complex problems to advance and deliver data solutions that fact track Data25 goals and objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Create data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets.

  • Conduct analysis that may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. This requires strong statistical and data visualization skills.

  • Develop strategy with senior leaders, coordinates activities with the Data Analytics Center of Excellence, and directs Communities of Practice associated with key types of mission data.

  • Lead strategic vision development, operational design, and design thinking within the Corps of Engineers.

  • Write multiple data strategy documents for the USACE Data25 strategy.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors with a minimum of 8 years -OR- a Masters with a minimum of 6 years experience Enterprise IT experience which includes 5 years Big Data and Analytics solution experience

  • Demonstrated use of appropriate analytical techniques such as Artificial intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), modeling & simulation, text mining & analysis, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, social network analysis, graph analytics, geographic data mapping, and/or time series analysis to analyze data around identified lines of business and communities of practice.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of strong statistical and data visualization skills

  • Must possess an active Secret level security. US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree

  • Active Top Secret security clearance
