Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for a Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer at its Subsystem and Software Sustainment (S&SS) organization in Warner Robins, GA.
This engineering position is for a role on our Hardware Engineering Team that supports a diverse portfolio of programs including modeling and simulation, electronic warfare, avionics, and radar sustainment programs.
Your opportunities will involve supporting a broad spectrum of tasking that will rely on the candidate's existing skills and experience, such as:
Analyzing complex embedded and/or RF systems
Generating formal engineering documentation (specifications, drawings, test procedures, etc.)
Hardware verification/validation testing
Designing embedded systems, circuits and electronic assemblies
Developing and/or analyzing Firmware (VHDL)
A Bachelor's degree in Science in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related technical degree and a minimum of 9 years of direct relevant experience; 7 Years with Masters
Experience with the design, analysis, and testing of embedded systems
Demonstrated expertise in requirements development, analysis, decomposition, and verification & validation.
A current DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain/maintain access to work at our Warner Robins, GA site.
Demonstrated performance in engineering leadership
Experience with modeling and simulation of embedded systems
Experience analyzing and designing digital / embedded systems
Experience designing hardware in the loop testing capabilities
Experience with Firmware Design and/or Analysis
Experience with real-time operating systems
Experience with Wind Rivers Simics
Experience with emulation and/or virtualization technologies
Experience with F-22 Systems or Software
