Northrop Grumman technology Services Sector is seeking an SCA Soldering Technician 1 to support multiple sustainment contracts with our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia . The technician will fabricate and repair avionics equipment.
Supports repair operations actives of electronic assemblies.
Manufactures electronic assemblies.
Follows repair and manufacturing instructions.
Performs soldering, de-soldering and wiring operations.
Collaborates with technical staff.
Obtains and maintains all applicable work certifications.
Assists in monitoring tool and test equipment status and locations.
Works independently with judgment, versatility, and initiative.
Must have a High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) certification once aboard.
Must be able to wear applicable safety gear, such as steel toed shoes and glasses.
Must be able to handle and assemble small parts.
Must be able to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Experience with soldering, production work, and fabrication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
An active DoD Secret security clearance
