Northrop Grumman SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3 in Warner Robins, Georgia

We are currently seeking an SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 3 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia . This position will support second shift and receive the shift differential.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents, such as:

  • Determining the location and density of circuitry

  • Evaluating electromagnetic radiation

  • Isolating malfunctions to component level

  • Incorporating engineering

  • Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as:

  • Making circuit analyses

  • Calculating wave forms

  • Tracing relationships in signal flow

  • Uses complex test instruments such as:

  • High frequency pulse generators

  • Frequency synthesizers

  • Distortion analyzers

  • Complex computer control equipment

  • Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices

  • May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians

TSWR

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have one of the following:

  • High school diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of electronics / electrical repair experience

  • Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics / electrical repair experience

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance

  • Must be able to work2nd shift / evening hours

  • Must be able to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits
