Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sentinel Flight Test Lead. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel - Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You ' ll Get To Do:

  • Advise test and program leadership on recommended course of action for a successful flight test program

  • Develop, perform, document, and lead team in flight tests, includes test planning, test conduct, data analysis and test reporting

  • Review and evaluate weapon system specification and flight test requirements to ensure completeness and compliance of the test program

  • Guide and lead technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analyses for: systems, flight tests, data analysis, test data management, test infrastructure, test safety, and range integration

  • Participate in all engineering review boards for flight test relevant technical changes

  • Co-Chair Flight & Ground Test Engineering Review Board (ERB)

  • Verify specifications and designs through testing, test data processing, modeling and simulation, and performance analysis

  • Support all phases of the systems lifecycle including concept, design, test, installation, operation, and maintenance

  • Maintain design documentation and follow configuration management requirements

  • Create technical reports and present test and analysis results

  • Coordinate integrated testing activities working in a dynamic people-focused environment

  • Interface with internal and external customers, and collaborate across program organizations and with other engineering leads

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You ' ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 14 Years with Bachelors in Science; 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhD; a n additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

  • Previous test experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

  • Demonstrated experience in test planning or test execution, project management

  • Experience with flight test operations

  • Experience with missile operations

  • Experience with telemetry processing and test instrumentation

  • Familiarity with range and system safety requirements and procedures

  • Proficient in Agile Development practices and the use of applications such as Jira and Confluence

Salary Range: $146,000 - $219,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
