Northrop Grumman's CIO organization is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Software Analyst/Developer to support various integrations to/from our ServiceNow platform. In this position, you will become part of the integration team of experts connecting data from our ServiceNow platform, collaborating on integration best practices, identifying automation opportunities, and defining solutions. You will need to be a self-starter, working in an agile environment focusing on innovative service delivery.

This is a remote/virtual position. Remote/Virtual/Work from home arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities the successful candidate will be accountable for include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying integrations in support of enterprise initiatives

  • Modifying, maintaining, and modernizing existing integrations

  • Researching new technologies

  • Documenting data flows, solutions, and test results

  • Scheduling and monitoring integrations

  • Partnering with Information Security & Privacy to ensure compliance.

  • Mentoring, training, or demonstrating to other professionals, as required.

  • Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize efforts to ensure continuous value to the business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience

  • at least 5 years of experience developing solutions using the following technologies: JavaScript and REST API

  • Ability to analyze and architect solutions for complex integrations.

  • Ability to research new technologies for solution creation.

  • Experience with server-side scripting using tools like PowerShell, Python or Bash

  • Understanding of JSON or XML object structures

  • Understanding of database connections, object structure and queries (Oracle and SQL)

  • Understanding of networking and firewalls

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming

  • Practical use of the software lifecycle and solution implementation including:

  • Research

  • Design

  • Development

  • Testing

  • Customer Coordination

  • Self-motivated, creative problem-solver who can adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.

  • Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in a clear and concise manner, tailoring the communication appropriately to the intended audience; use of various communication channels and software to interact with virtual customers and development teams.

  • Solid organizational skills: ability to juggle multiple assignments and manage changing priorities.

  • Great attention to detail and strong conceptual, analytical, and planning skills

  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team and cross-team environment

  • Available to perform emergency on-call duties.

  • Ability to travel, on occasion, to support different locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service Now and/or ServiceNow Flow Designer

  • Understanding of Cloud architecture and integration

  • Basic understanding of VPN connectivity and Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Ability to document data flows, processes, architecture in a tool like Visio or draw.io.

  • Experience with SOAP API

  • Experience with Agile methodology.

Salary Range: $97,500 - $146,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
