Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to join our team of qualified diverse individuals. This position will be located in Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The selected candidate will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively supporting computer operations for an avionics test and development laboratory.

The Computer Systems Analyst works in classified operations that support a large variety of computing systems, and requires a wide range of solutions to solve technical problems in support of Department of Defense programs. The selected candidate will serve as a team lead to ensure optimal operation of systems, ensure updates are applied in a timely manner, and work with other computer engineering and software development teams to resolve technical issues.


  • Oversees and manages operational tasking of avionics labs information systems support

  • Assesses service requests and determines staffing resources required to develop resolutions that meeting customer satisfaction goals

  • Tracks and reports workload and tasking status

  • Serves as liaison between design and computer engineering, line management, and the user community

  • Identifies, communicates, and project risk mitigation strategies to management in a timely manner

  • Assigns tasks and ensures timely updates are received from the team

  • Develops methods for monitoring engineering status updates to tasking.

  • Determines root cause analysis of systems failures and corrects deficiencies in operations

  • Determines appropriate course of action to provide, improve or restore systems' functionality, and recommends / requests procurement of hardware and/or software solutions when necessary

  • Recommends and implements appropriate configurations to improve performance; monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum user performance

  • Workstation support and integration in Development and Avionics Lab environments

  • Systems administration of multiple operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Unix

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have either a Bachelor's of science (in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of computer support experience, a Master's (in CS, MIS, or a related field) with a minimum of 3 years of computer support experience, or a PhD.

  • Must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ CE Certification to meet DoD 8570 requirements within 2 months of hire date.

  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or an inactive DoD Secret clearance (last active within the past 2 years).

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain additional program clearances.

  • Must be able to work on-site at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with RMF/JSIG and DoD STIGs

  • Valid CompTIA Security+ CE or CISSP

  • Experience leading technical teams
