We are looking for you to join our team as a Product Quality Support Manager 2, based out of Sunnyvale, CA.
The Product Quality Support Manager 2 is responsible for establishing and leading the Quality function for the Sunnyvale location; a key element of the Marine Systems business unit within the Navigation & Maritime Systems Division (N&MSD). Marine Systems designs, builds, tests, and supports Propulsion/Power Generation and Launch Systems for submarine and aircraft carriers.
As a key leader, partner and essential member of the Sunnyvale site leadership team, the Product Quality Support Manager 2 will lead a high performing material inspection team to support company operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manages the materials inspection of material received from suppliers. Experience with quality codes, quality note/notice process, and general preventative/corrective action processes is expected
Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure quality is inherent in every requirement design, work product, and end product delivered by Northrop Grumman Sunnyvale
Responsible for department yields, expenses, and non-applied time, and merit planning
Promotes the professional development of the Quality workforce and fosters a collaborative culture that sustain the momentum around employee engagement and inclusion, afford-ability, innovation, value growth and continuous improvement.
Maintains the highest level of commitment to quality, compliance and internal controls in adherence to company values and ethics.
Assures compliance in quality, risk management, safety, process improvement, subcontractor and supplier quality, configuration and data management in accordance with contractual requirements.
Leverages comprehensive metrics, customer and employee feedback to assess performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission success.
Thought leader influencing and impacting strategy for the Mission Assurance organization, while driving innovative change.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years of related experience in Quality Assurance, Calibration or Material Inspection.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
Master's degree in Engineering or technical field.
3+ years of experience leading or managing teams in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification process.
Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) certification to drive continuous improvement.
Familiarity with SAP, a plus with Mission Assurance transactions.
Possesses DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
