Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. This individual will lead a diverse team of 20 - 25 people supporting a 74 acre site mixed manufacturing / office / warehouse facility. The ideal candidate is able to work across a matrixed organization to drive results.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Support Production, Corrective and Preventive Machine Maintenance

  • Troubleshooting diagnostics and performing root cause assessments

  • Develop and maintain critical skills within the Facilities team (staff levels, training and certification)

  • Manage subcontracts with multiple vendors

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • 3+ years of relevant facilities work experience (maintenance, reconfiguration and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures)

  • Prior leadership experience

  • Experience with MS Excel and MS Word

  • Understanding of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition

  • Knowledge of facility systems to include power distribution, HVAC, and/or plumbing systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in predictive maintenance and CMMS software applications

  • Degree in Facility / Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering

  • Exposure to applicable California, NFPA, OSHA, NEC, IBC and UPC Standards, Codes and Regulations
