Northrop Grumman Marine Systems is seeking an Operations Program Manager (Manager Operations Program Engineering 2) to join our team in Sunnyvale. Working closely with the Program Manager and Manufacturing Operations functional management, this individual will be responsible for execution of the manufacturing scope of a multimillion dollar Launcher program. You will be the single point of contact within manufacturing leadership for the program.
Responsibilities include the following:
Propose, plan/baseline, and execute to performance management baseline
Champion and lead change management processes to resolve problems
Coordinate responses with functional organizations to keep project on schedule
Perform risk and opportunity management functions for the manufacturing scope in concert with the overall program RSKOM
Manage EVMS and cost account management functions
Mentor and guide functional CAMs within operations
Manage 1-2 individual contributors
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience in Program and/or Project Management
1+ years of experience in Earned Value Management
Experience using ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Ability to travel (generally less than 5%)
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Experience working on government contracts
Experience with hardware production proposals
Experience managing hardware production activity
Experience with SAP in a low volume, high mix manufacturing environment
Master's degree in Engineering or Management
