Northrop Grumman CALIBRATION TECH (JR) in Sunnyvale, California
Set up laboratory standards and calibrate working level instruments in accordance with established procedures. Make calculations as necessary.
Adjust, maintain and repair instruments as required.
Inspect new measuring instruments to determine compliance to specifications.
Record data, maintain calibration records, and compile data as required.
Perform similar or lower classified work as required Direction of Others:
Direction Received: Occasional technical assistance from Laboratory Engineers and Technicians.
General assistance and instructions from immediate supervisor on routine assignments. Specific instructions on new assignments.
Education and Experience: High school plus one (1) year technical or college training in engineering, fundamental physics and electrical theory or the recognized equivalent such as one year performing related instrument calibration or repair work that would be acquired in a military or commercial laboratory or in a commercial shop.
