Northrop Grumman Principal Intel Ops Specialist in Stafford, Virginia
The Operations Specialist will support transmission and verification of complex RF systems including product validation and 2nd tier quality assurance. Support infrastructure development and optimization of operational systems from design phase through operational acceptance and test evaluation. The scope of responsibility includes product hardware & software test requirements validation and innovation of test methods including exotic modulation. The operations specialist will work closely with government customers.

Additional duties will include supporting 24/7 operations and controlling RF generation systems. This includes but is not limited to building test scripts, monitoring critical global systems and communicating with customers.
Opening is for second (1400-2200) or third shift (2200-0600).
2 Years with Bachelors in Science; 0 Years with Master. 4 Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree will be considered.
Skills required are in line with military equivalent training in ratings such as Air Force IN2A (IN5 equivalent), Navy CTT and Army 35N (98 series equivalents)
Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines; able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
Ability to develop test methods to characterize and validate RF signals & performance
Experience with RF testing and generation of modulated RF signals including MSK, BPSK, FSK, and QPSK
Thorough understanding of how RF test equipment works and how to operate it
Skilled in presenting technical and management level briefings
Experience with Matlab a plus
