Northrop Grumman Database/ETL Engineer 3 in Springfield, Virginia

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's team to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) suite of computer and automated software applications. CBP PSPD supports a broad range of complex business systems which are instrumental to the CBP mission of securing our borders while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze customer requirements, design and implement Informatica mappings, sessions and workflows
Perform data analysis and develop source to target mapping specifications
Create and maintain ETL documentation
Interface with project teams to perform rapid development
All work will be performed on site at CBP offices in Northern Virginia. Some local travel to various CBP sites will be required.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
5years' experience with a Bachelors degree Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent degree program; 3 years with a Masters
5+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter
5+ years developing Data Warehouses
Experience with Oracle databases and strong SQL background
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Capable of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Essential qualifications include: (1) ability to quickly adapt to new situations, (2) strong commitment to a team environment, (3) willingness to learn new technologies, (4) ability to resolve and clarify requests/requirements, and (5) ability to establish, maintain and follow documented processes and procedures.
Experience with an Agile Task Management/Collaboration toolset.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Prior experience with CBP
Certified Scrum Master, Agile Professional or equivalent
Experience with Agile/Scrum Experience with the Atlassian toolset, including JIRA and Confluence
