The selected candidate will support Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities for the Japan Global Hawk Contractor Logistics Support Contract in Sierra Vista, AZ and be responsible for directing and managing personnel in the development and production of ILS products and processes, which will influence design and maximize system supportability and reduction of Operation & Sustainment costs. Ensure that support elements are addressed through interface with associated engineering teams and disciplines to understand and resolve issues associated with ILS products. Accountable for the development, delivery, and sustainment of ILS products to support the operation and maintenance activities. Coordinates with internal & external suppliers as required obtaining data and information required for analyses. Reviews status of ILS products and budgets; prepares and manages schedules, and interfaces with management and other IPTs as required. Work closely with US and Japanese customers to ensure products and processes are clearly understood and meet the end user's requirements.
Roles and responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of ILS team members, functions, and activities.
Manage ILS requirements for the Japan Global Hawk CLS Program
Lead stand-up of ILS procedures and processes to support initial delivery and sustainment of the Global Hawk system to Japan
Single point of accountability for the development, delivery, and sustainment of all assigned ILS products, processes, and analyses
Ensures personnel needs are met and ensures they have the tools and resources required for their jobs
Encourage and foster high morale
Reviews field support requirements and recommends spares, tooling and test equipment
Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support
Plans and contributes to proposal efforts
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution and 6+ years of experience or at least 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Experience to be related to Integrated Logistics Support to include a combination of, but not limited to:
Parts Provisioning and Procurement
Technical Training development and instruction, New equipment fielding
Packaging Handling Storage & Transportation
Spares Analysis, Repair Management, and Supportability Analysis
Reliability and Maintainability, FMECA, and FRACAS
Management of ILS teams
Experience leading a team
Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite and software analysis tools
Must be a US Citizen with current DoD Secret Clearance.
Expert-level knowledge of the roles, responsibilities, and underlying methods necessary to develop Integrated Logistics Support products and processes
Experience in Technical Training development and instruction for Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Awareness and understanding of modular technical document specifications like S1000D and DITA for IETMs
Familiar with ILS data developed in accordance with MIL-PRF-49506, logistics footprint data, level of repair analysis and support equipment requirements
Current or ability to gain Top Secret DoD Clearance
