Northrop Grumman Logistics Management Analyst 4 in Scott AFB, Illinois

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst for a position in the Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC) at USTRANSCOM with a mission to provide analysis and engineering support to improve the nation's ability to move and sustain our forces throughout the globe. This position will work on the Distribution Network Assessment (DNA) team to provide functional support to sustainment analysis. The qualified applicant will assist the USTRANSCOM Data and Modeling analysts in conducting analysis of the sustainment distribution network.

  • Applies logistics and supply chain knowledge to support the analysis and assessment of global and regional deployment and distribution processes using standard enterprise metrics and applicable commercial practices for qualitative and quantitative measurement.

  • Requires familiarity with Department of Defense and USTRANSCOM supply chain processes and the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders.

  • Must have the ability to lead or contribute to distribution related projects and studies leveraging inputs from a wide variety of functional areas and data sources.

  • Possesses the knowledge of relevant transportation data from a broad range of sources for conducting analytic activities, and producing decision-support products.

  • Balances functional and analytic skills and employs positive people skills for working in a team environment.

  • Utilizes Microsoft Office Suite to produce results and reports for various levels of leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 10 years of experience are required for this position. (Or an MS and 8 years)

  • Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent customer contact and have excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated skills in solving problems, troubleshooting, and responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Ability to receive a Secret clearance (interim clearance required to commence task work)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance
