We are seeking a Logistics Management mid level analyst at Scott Air Force Base.
The analyst will:
Apply logistics, distribution and supply chain knowledge to support the analysis and assessment of global and regional deployment and distribution processes.
Need to befamiliar with military strategic directives and USTRANSCOM processes, and possess the ability to effectively communicate with a broad range of enterprise stakeholders.
Functionally support the Joint Operations Center Global Transportation Team (GTT) ensuring movement requirements are best matched to transportation capacity in an Enterprise Executable Plan (EEP).
Have the ability to lead or contribute to deployment and distribution related projects and studies that leverage inputs from a wide variety of functional areas and data sources.
Possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to retrieve data from a broad range of sources, compile the data into formats and quality sufficient to conduct analytic activities, and apply basic analytic tools and techniques to produce decision-support products.
Require an understanding of operational movement planning and execution to include both USTRANSCOM Joint Operations Center operations and components. Demonstrate the ability to suggest solutions to resolve data conflicts and track metrics to support operational decision making.
Be required to provide EEP software training to approximately 75 users using a classroom or virtual environment. Planning product output will typically be in MS Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, MS Word, or web format. Examples include s taff action decision packages prepared for senior leader approval to include briefing slides, Program, Objectives, Action and Milestones, and Synchronization Matrices.
Demonstrate functional and writing skills, as well as positive people skills for working in a team environment.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
Military Education Level (command and general staff college service equivalent) of military schooling plus 10 years of task related experienceORa combined 20 years of military operational experience (5 of which earned as E-6 or O-3 or above) can be used in lieu of a degree
Active Secret level clearance
