The SWDC team at Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Control Account Manager (CAM) 1/2 based out of Schriever AFB, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

Control Account Manager (CAM) to support the Threat Modeling Center (TMC) on the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) program at Schriever AFB, CO.

As a CAM, the individual will work with a technical team, Task Order leadership and with a senior CAM to gather necessary information for cost control and forecasting the Task Orders (TO) financial data and delivering monthly program reports. The CAM will update Earned Value Management (EVM) tools and produce required data products, review monthly Earned Value (EV) data and provide detailed cost account status, and support program requirements for the EV battle rhythm. The DE Task Orders employs Agile Development methodologies and the CAM must be able to integrate that approach with the EVM requirements.

Primary duties include: track budget actuals against predictions and financial performance against LOE and discrete work, participate in CAM status calls, prepare status for/attend weekly TO status meeting, provide/enter weekly Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) status, support stakeholder meetings, review Actuals Hours reports for time charging accuracy and alignment with IMS status. On a monthly basis: calculate & enter Estimate to Complete (ETCs) into the financial system, analyze EV metrics and generate Variance Reports (VARs) as required, and attend program VAR meetings. Support the development of the Integrated Program Management Reviews (IPMR) CDRL deliverable. As required identify/request IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules, and plan technical work, including scope, cost & schedule, with direction from TO leadership. Participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews as required and maintain Work Authorization Documents (WADs) for each Control Account, ensuring the WADs are always up-to-date.

The selected Team Member will use their skills and learning to achieve and maintain EV integrity across the TO, alert leadership to trends that may negatively impact TO, as well as perform other duties as assigned. If not already acquired the selected Team Member will be expected to complete the NG CAM/EVM training course and complete the exam within 6 months of hire.

This position may be filled at a higher grade level depending on qualifications listed below.

Qualifications:

This position may be hired as an Associate Analyst (level 1) or Analyst (level 2)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate CAM (level 1) : Bachelor's degree, or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • CAM (level 2) : Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of degree

  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Ability to develop, maintain, and follow documented processes and procedures

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • Understand government contracting methodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and use spreadsheet-based analysis tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practiced in identifying IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules

  • Recent experience with DCMA Audits and Baseline Reviews as the CAM answering the questions desired. Must be a recent graduate of a CAM/EVM training course and completed EVM tool training within the last 2 years

  • Demonstrated skills in cost estimation, control, and forecasting and experience with cost-schedule integration (EV) especially related to Agile Development methodologies

  • Basic understanding of software development and system engineering activities

  • Experience in an Agile Development environment that also used Discrete EV management methodologies

  • Knowledge of Northrop Grumman CAM/CAM Analyst processes and policies (PMP) or equivalent desired.

  • Practiced in identifying IMS forecast and baseline changes via schedule change requests and "what if" schedules.

  • Detail oriented and able to work independently with little or no supervision

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools like MS Project

Level 1: Salary Minimum: $55,280 - Salary Maximum: $82,920

Level 2: Salary Minimum: $67,520 - Salary Maximum: $101,280
