The Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to assist a Northrop Grumman Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with managing the security of Missile Defense Space Warning Tool (MDST) networks and systems. This is an outstanding opportunity for an entry levelCybersecurity Info Assurance Analyst to learn the ins and outs of the ISSO role and to provide valuable contributions towards safeguarding the MDST. The position will be located at Schriever Air Force Base, in Colorado Springs, CO.
Position responsibilities include:
Assist with executing the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and obtaining/maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) and Authority to Connect (ATC) packages.
Develop and maintaining CND policies and procedures
Identify, document, report and correct system vulnerabilities
Capture and report meaningful cyber metrics
Manage cyber incident response
Active DoD Secret or higher Clearance
2+ years of experience with IT networks, systems and associated cyber controls
2+ yearsof cybersecurity applicable experience with a Bachelor's degree in a Technology, IT or related field;0 years of experience with a Master's degree, or6 years of experience in lieu of a degree
DoD 8570 IA Workforce Improvement Program IAM Level I Approved Baseline Certification or equivalent (CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE)
Ability to evaluate system and network configurations for compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and RMF Security Controls.
Familiarity with the NIST Risk Management Framework
Demonstrated performance of accountability against deadlines
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
Strong writing skills to produce the coherent and concise documentation required for certification evaluation
Ability to create and work within schedules and timelines.
Active DoD 8570 IA Workforce Improvement Program IAM II Certification (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC)
One or more of the following certifications: GCIA, CEH, GCIH, SCYBER, SSCP, CSIH, GCFA
Experience with Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems
Experience in the configuration and/or operation of ACAS or HBSS
Active Top Secret Clearance
