Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Launch and Missile Defense Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Sr. Principal Project Management - JEMINI O&S Deputy Lead (23-437) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.

Position Overview:

This position reports to the JEMINI O&S Leadership and performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the multi-classified domain C2BMC JEMINI systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC JEMINI hardware, software, and networks. Document and report all events/issues using Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Office products to the JEMINI O&S Lead, and receive tasking and direction from the JEMINI O&S Leadership for all operations, test & real-world events. The candidate will also assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs.

Essential Functions:

  • Primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the administrative functions for the JEMINI Ops Floor, which includes coordinating and overseeing interviews and making selections for the hiring of new staff

  • Collaborating with the JEMINI Resource Manager (RM) on all staffing matters/concerns.

  • Continually tracking certifications ensures everyone in JEMINI O&M is valid and current.

  • Manages the weekly overtime, leave, and travel reports.

  • Responsible for maintaining the JEMINI calendar, scheduling office visits with Very Important Person(s) (VIP), and planning project meetings and conferences.

  • Oversees facility renovation projects to improve efficiency or to meet regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.

  • Collaborates with the JEMINI Infrastructure/Integration for new requirements for software/hardware, new capability, new connectivity, and equipment to support JEMINI O&M local and off-site personnel.

  • Captures and reports incidents and significant events to the JEMINI and C2BMC leadership, including the status of JEMINI and C2BMC resources and personnel.

  • Assist in orchestrating efforts of all JEMINI O&M future projects.

  • Assists the JEMINI Operations Lead in duties and assumes duties in the absence of the JEMINI Operations Lead during leave and other absences.

  • Ability to brief technical system and network issues and overall system reports to program management and customer leadership using appropriate tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint

  • Sound knowledge and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and/or JEMINI Operating Instructions (JOIs) to effectively administer, operate and manage services under JEMINI operational control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.

  • 10 years with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; 14 years experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and capable of briefing senior leaders on complex issues

  • Experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environment

  • Experience in liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated Missile Defense Systems operations/organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Missile Defense Agency and/or C2BMC desired

  • Experience with Space Force or working within the space domain desired

  • Experience working on a contract involving multiple teammates

  • Previous experience as a C2BMC Watch Officer or with other 24x7 operations and support processes similar to that used within the C2BMC Command Center

Salary Range: $97,300 - $145,900

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
