Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Quality Engineer 3 to join our team of qualified individuals on Schriever AFB, Colorado.

Qualified candidates must work as part of a team, demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, possess the ability to plan ahead and be customer- support focused. Individuals must also have demonstrated ability to evaluate whether documents, instructions and procedures are being followed during execution and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
Lead risk management activities across the program by identifying technical and programmatic risks, analyzing mitigation costs and strategies, and helping implement them within the program.
Support development and operations to ensure SWDC is fully mission capable 24/7/365
Supports the Business Acquisition Process by participating in proposal reviews, assessing program start-up readiness, and providing status of proposal activities.
Implement engagement strategies across the program life-cycle from supporting new business pursuits to supporting fielded systems.
Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies related to SW/HW, installations/upgrade, system testing, for NG Ground Systems products and operational capabilities
Provides independent technical and programmatic subject matter expertise, in any program phase, to provide guidance, resolve technical issues, and mitigate risks.
Interface with product development, engineering, testers, customers, vendors and subcontractors and team members to ensure requirements are achievable and risks are understood and managed.
Capable of credibly engaging with program leadership on complex technical and program life cycle issues.
Bachelor's degree in a related STEM fieldand5+ years of experience in risk management, program analytics, Mission Assurance, or related experience
Holds current Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one (US Citizenship required)
Can work flexible schedules to include occasional off normal hours as necessary to meet commitments
Possesses good interpersonal skills to successfully interface with diverse groups or individuals
Can travel 10% of time as necessary to support installations and testing on customer sites
Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can work with minimal direction
Missile Defense Agency program experience
Risk Management Experience
Program Management or Program Analytics Experience
Quality certifications such as ASQ and Lean Six Sigma
Software development lifecycle understanding
AGILE development process exposure
JAVA, C++, Linux, Redhat
Prior coding experience highly valued
