Northrop Grumman Aeronautic System's subsidiary, Sonoma Photonics, Inc. has an opening for an Associate Material Process Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Santa Rosa, CA
Measures, tests, and analyzes the receiving of materials, in-process manufacturing output, and final product for a variety of factors in order to ensure quality standards and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
Monitors and calibrates metrology equipment
Performs environmental testing of substrates
Properly documents various QA tests, calibrations, machine usage, and certifications to ensure compliance
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance
Good organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Demonstrated ability to work in a production setting
Ability to adapt quickly
