Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a successful candidate to fill a leadership role as the Triton Sustainment Sub-Integrated Product Team (IPT) Manager 3 . This leadership position will be based in Rancho Bernardo, CA . The Triton Sustainment Sub-IPT Manager will report to the Mission Systems IPT Director and will report functionally to the Avionics Integration Directorate Navy/NGAD Department Manager.

The primary responsibilities of the Triton Sustainment Sub-IPT Manager 3 will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Act as an Enterprise Technical Review Board Member, responsible for assessing impacts to support management of the technical baseline.

  • Oversee the design, development, manufacture/procurement, and sustainment of mission systems equipment and related special test equipment. Includes generation of technical documentation (e.g., performance specifications, interface control documents, test plans/reports, design review packages, trade studies, white papers, etc.) and supplier statements of work and related documentation.

  • Manage MS IPT teamwork product performance across all RQ-4 Business Areas (BAs), including Advanced Development, USAF, NATO, ROK & Japan, and TRMC, throughout all program/project phases (e.g., proposals, planning, execution, & closeout) and over the complete product lifecycle. Ensure high quality technical products are completed within project cost & schedule constraints.

  • Manage staffing in collaboration with Functional Home Room (FHR) to ensure sufficient staff levels and appropriate skillsets are available to support each BA's statement of work.

  • Lead the team to resolve critical technical issues affecting operations and/or mission availability. Develop and maintain a robust understanding of end user needs and ensure actions are taken to address them.

  • Provide technical oversight of Supplier Management Teams and take ownership of supplier performance.

  • Must demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and possess effective communication and presentation skills to all levels (individual contributor up to executive leadership).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with 9 years of experience OR Master of Science Degree in STEM with 7 years of experience

  • Experience in technical problem solving, to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation and monitoring.

  • Experience p lanning staffing requirements and EVM techniques.

  • Must have an active DoD secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in STEM related field and/or MBA

  • Understand NGAS Sector Engineering procedures

  • Experience on Triton, RQ4 or Strike programs

  • Experience with leading, preparing, reviewing and approving AV technical and cost inputs for proposals and ECPs

  • Experience in collaboration with other technical leads (SEIT, SW, Vehicle and Test) in a team-oriented environment to achieve program goals

  • Experience on development and sustainment programs

  • Current DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.

Salary Range: $180,600 - $271,000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
