Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Survivability Design and Analysis Engineer level 3. This position will be located in San Diego, California . The qualified applicant will support a diverse design and integration team on an Advanced Program within NGAS.
The Survivability analysis team runs a variety of 1D/2D/3D CEM simulation tools, including in-house and commercial codes.
The engineer will perform their work under the guidance of seniorengineers. Beyond analysis, the team is responsible for the design, build, test, and validation of survivable systems.
The Survivability Design, Analysis, & Integration engineer will be a part of an integrated product team (IPT), supporting multi-disciplinary advanced development programs and technology research and development (R&D).
Travel is expected to support program requirements, typically up to 25% of the time.
BS degree in STEM field; minimum three years of experience
Twoyears Survivability-specific experience
Current Active Top Secret with ability to obtain and maintain program Access
Applied experience with CEM Tools including GEMS, Ram2D, Mismatch, Xpatch, and Sigma
RCS or RF test range experience
Scripting experience with Python and/or Matlab
Current program access
