Northrop Grumman Supply Chain Planning Specialist 3 in San Diego, California
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Division is seeking multiple experienced Supply Chain Planning Analysts (Level 3/4) to join our newly developed team Supply Chain organization for the F-35 program based out of our San Diego, CA office.
The Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization is looking for a driven individual for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA) role. The SCPA position is new in a growing organization to support the F-35 CNI Business Unit (BU). This is an exciting opportunity to help drive process and tool implementation, improvements, and strategic Supply Chain Management (SCM).
Candidate will have a general understanding of SCM principles - materials management, procurement, subcontracts, cost budgets, supplier quality, production, and logistics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Encompass supply chain responsibilities from the inception of a program in the proposal phase, to the end of a programs period of performance.
Work with the Program team during the pricing of all material requirements, prepare proposal pricing inputs and support the team in the development of supplier capabilities, risk profiles, and presentations.
Will act as the Program Management Organization liaison on behalf of the entire SCM organization who is responsible to monitor and provide status of material deliveries, mitigate schedule and quality risks, and build relationships with the
Work with Control Account Management (CAM) financial and schedule responsibilities which includes Earned Value Management tracking, Intranet Program Review System (IPRS) reporting, and implementing Return to Green (RTG) plans.
Will present to upper management.
This position may be hired at a level 3 or level 4.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
6+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, business management or related field with Bachelors; 4+ years with Masters.
US Citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
10+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, business management or related field with Bachelors; 8+ years with Masters.
US Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications for Level 3 and 4:
Minimum of 4+ years demonstrated success/problem solving skills in supply chain, business management, operations, logistics, engineering or program management
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP
Demonstrated leadership success and ability to influence team members, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization
