Northrop Grumman Stock Clerk 2 in San Diego, California

Working in Northrop Grumman Mission Systems means making a direct contribution to mission projects that keep our homeland safe, expanding the boundaries of possibility and reshaping the world we live in.

Northrop Grumman Missions Systems is seeking a Stock Clerk 2 tojoin our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position would be located at the Rancho Carmel facility in San Diego and would be joining our Manufacturing Team.

The Stock Clerk 2 performs a combination of manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies in a central warehouse. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications and invoices; stores articles according to identifying factors.

  • Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.

  • Requisition stock to fill incoming orders.

  • Prepares stock use reports.

  • Determine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GEDand 2 years additional education and/or experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing setting.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.

  • Must be able to lift up to50 pounds.

  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance which requires US citizenship.

  • Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic.

  • Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures, and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Prior stockroom experience

  • Experience withSAP.
