Northrop Grumman Aeronautical Systems sector is looking for a Global Supply Chain Principal Project Management / Sr Principal Project Management onsite in Rancho Bernardo, CA,
Key Responsibilities:
This role will primarily support the Aerospace Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance & Testing portfolio. In this role you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between GSC project management and planning, scheduling, engineering, program, and business management teams. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with Program, Business, and Supply Chain teams. T he individual will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals. The main focus will be on supporting execution activities associated with the Global Surveillance portfolio.
Manages all phases of program and project execution.
Provides delivery projections to the customer along with frequent customer status reports.
Assesses product issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Supports proposal / work scope development and contract negotiations.
Supports in communicating priorities for sub-tier supplier efforts and material purchasing.

Basic Qualifications- Level 3
Must have a bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience/supply chain experience or a master's degree and 4 years of relevant/supply chain experience. An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Must have experience supporting DoD / Government contracts
Must be proficient in Operations Business Systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
Basic Qualifications- Level 4
Requires a bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience/supply chain experience or a master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience/supply chain experience. An additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proficient in Operations Business Systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
Must have experience supporting DoD / Government contracts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting proposal activity.
Experience supporting DoD / Government contracts.
Ability to read engineering drawings and parts list as well as assembly instructions.
Experience using SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Experience managing projects budgets.
Experience developing Business Intelligence Tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
Experience with pulling and presenting comprehensive data analyses.
EVMS Certified
Experience developing tools, spreadsheets, and/or mechanisms to track project progress
Salary Range: $86,300 - $129,500
Salary Range 2: $107,000 - $160,600
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
