Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

This position is for the role of a Program Integrator. The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom and will be responsible for direct support to the Production Program under Triton. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. This individual contributor will work with the Triton Production Program Office on all program reporting and executive level presentations.

The candidate will be required to improve their knowledge of industry practices and standards, and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

  • Programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the Production Program Office in day-to-day execution.

  • Assess project issues, and support development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress.

  • Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings.

  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional project teams to ensure timely and quality proposal operations for new RFPs, supporting the entire proposal lifecycle from BOE development through RFI's, negotiations, award, baselining (IBR), and execution.

  • Lead and coordinate multi-functional project teams to ensure timely and quality implementation of change board approved plans, risk/issue mitigation plans, and other program issue-resolution plans.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applied Project Management experience; OR a Master's degree with 1 year of applied Project Management experience; OR 7 years of applied Project Management experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

  • Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Interim DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years' experience - general business environment with preference in project management, program integration

  • Master's Degree from an accredited university

  • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office tool suite

  • Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally

  • Familiarity with the Integrated Management Framework (IMF)

  • Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and Leadership

  • SharePoint Experience

  • Current and active Secret/Top Secret security clearance
