We are seeking a Program Planning Scheduling Analyst level 2 to join our diverse team. The position will be located in San Diego, CA. (Rancho Bernardo, CA).

Essential Functions:

Prepares, develops and coordinates the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives on a fast-paced, high profile major defense program.

Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality

Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts

Utilizes Gantt, PERT milestone charts, EVM and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

Serves as program planning surge support for programs as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of planning/scheduling experience, or 1 year with a Master's Degree

  • Experience working with MS Project or Primavera and the detail development of a resource loaded IMS

  • Demonstrated skills in MS Office 2010 skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance and orSpecial Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering 3-6 years of developing and maintaining schedules in MS Project 2010 or equivalent

  • Active DOD Secret Clearance

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs

  • Active, final Secret clearance in-scope (within 6 years)

  • Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)

  • Understanding of and the ability to conduct Schedule Risk Assessments

  • Self-starter that is able to work well in a high-paced and dynamic environment

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
