Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst 3 to join our diverse team. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.

Essential Functions:

This Program Cost Control Analyst position will primarily be focusing on financial analysis. Under minimal supervision, this position will interface with the program managers, functional management, and senior leadership to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. Candidates will have experience with financial analysis of traditional financial metrics (Awards, Acquisitions, Sales, Operating Margin, ROS%, Cash). Financial tasks to include but not limited to: financial modeling for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP), funding analysis, cash flow analysis, invoice tracking, profitability, support monthly/quarterly financial reviews, risk analysis, and ad-hoc reporting. Additional responsibilities will include: Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Candidate will also be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting. Internal reporting requirements include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools.

Basic Qualifications for a level 3 are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related and a minimum of 6 years related experience in financial analysis or a Master's Degree with 4 years of experience

  • Requires intermediate to advance understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion)

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of EVMS

  • Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting

  • Understanding of Business systems (SAP, MPM, WinSight)

  • Candidate has the ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations to management for resolution of mitigation.

  • Master's Degree with 4 years' experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret DoD Clearance

Salary Range: $86,300 - $129,500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
