NGMS is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in support of the development and modernization of F-35 CNI (Communications, Navigation and Identification). This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
The F-35 CNI Development PM will have overall responsibility for executing radio development contracts for F-35 CNI systems. This manager will be responsible for the execution and performance of a contract in support of continued capability development and delivery of the F-35 CNI system. This individual will provide day to day leadership of cross functional teams working the effort. This individual should be experienced in all aspects of the program lifecycle, from acquisition shaping and concept development through product development and rate production with a demonstrated ability to balance competing objectives.
The Program Manager Key areas of responsibility include:
Provide overall leadership of the contract with responsibility for cost, schedule, technical, and quality performance.
Interface with customer and internal management for status reporting, including monthly program reviews, customer status calls and weekly detailed reporting
Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes
Leads the implementation of proposed program baselines to achieve technical, program and contract milestones
Interface with Business Management to track, forecast and improve financial performance
Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing and program leadership to manage development leading to full rate production
Interface with Contracts to seek, propose, and negotiate future work scope
Interface with Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) for establishing and managing sub contracts and part procurement
Proactively identifies risks and opportunities and develops solutions to mitigate or achieve
Bachelor's degree in Management, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 15 years of relevant experience
Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Risk & Opportunity Management
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Effective communication and presentation skills
Active Secret Clearance
Must have, or be able to obtain a SAP / SAR clearance
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Understanding of HW and SW Design processes for development, integration, test, verification and delivery
Experience/familiarity with CNI hardware products
