Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector is looking for a Supplier Manager, Programs Level 2 to support the CNI (Communication, Navigation, and Identification) organization/business unit.

The CNI Supplier Program Manager manages major subcontractors through all phases of program execution. This role assumes primary responsibility and accountability for supplier and product success as described in the following:

  • Leads and directs the Supplier Product Team (SPT) resources to effectively manage the program.

  • Proactively coordinates with stakeholders and direct contributors/partners to effectively manage the overall cost, quality, technical, and schedule performance of the program.

  • Managing suppliers to meet program objectives.

  • Effectively manages change and program evolution with minimal impact to cost, schedule, and affordability.

  • Identifies product risks and opportunities, and mitigation activities leading to assured program performance and success.

  • Identifies opportunities and executes strategies improve affordability and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Adherence to all internal processes for Program Management (PM).

  • Coordinate with all Program Managers (PMs) to determine priorities.

  • Thorough understanding of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW), subcontracts, contract types, and Long Term Supplier Agreements (LTSA).

  • Identifies and proactively manages Risks, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO) to include mitigation strategy execution, program exposure reduction, and closure activities.

  • Determines needs for product reliability and affordability/cost improvements.

  • Ensures subcontract readiness for new designs, requirements, and manufacturing deliverables.

  • Measures and reports program performance.

  • Develop strategies for Special Test Equipment (STE), process improvement, and affordability initiatives.

  • Support program/customer meetings as needed and develop and deliver presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholders.
