The Global Hawk System Security Engineering (SSE) Manager 2 provides technical integration and management of engineering security activities across the program. The SSE Manager is responsible for execution of a structured and disciplined systems security engineering process that invokes positive technical management and control over the system development both horizontally and vertically spanning the breadth of the standard systems engineering V to ensure the integrity of the program technical baseline.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Has Responsibility, Accountability and Authority (RAA) to manage all aspects of SSE team.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, for the security posture of the weapons system
Ensures the SSE team performs the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Familiarity with basic systems engineering principles and concepts.
Flexibility and strong problem solving, and communication skills are a critical requirement for this position.
Highly organized self-starter with the ability to work with all levels of management with minimum direct supervision.

Bachelors Degree in STEMand at least 5 years ofexperience in System Security Engineering (SSE).
Candidates must have strong knowledge of SSE program development lifecycle execution responsibilities including one or more of the following: Cyber Security, IA,Enterprise Security, Cross Domain Solutions, Cryptography, Computer Network Defense, Secure Software Practices, Certification and Accreditation Processes and Anti Tamper.
Knowledge of fundamental information technology principles, concepts and techniques to including software languages, design concepts, test methods, and integration practices.
DoD Secret clearance is required.
Preferred candidates should have demonstrated experience in managing people, budget, and schedule for programs and/or new initiatives
Ability to understand and apply company methodologies, standard, and policies.
Demonstrate the skill and abilities to perform moderately complex security information technology tasks independently.
Must possess familiarity/knowledge of both Enterprise (Windows and UNIX/Linux) and embedded computing platforms.
Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance
Ability to possess an appropriate certification as required by DoD Directive 8570 (such as CISSP, Security+) for an IASAE Level II Position.
Experience with the Risk Management Framework (NIST SP 800-53) and Committee for National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI 1253).
Experience with the application of the RMF to the DoD (DoDi 8500.01 Cybersecurity).
