The Airborne C4ISR Systems Division of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Logistics Engineer based out of San Diego, CA.

What you'll get to do:

  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment.

  • Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks.

  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.

  • Reviews handbooks, engineering drawings, and manuals for technical adequacy.

  • Assists in the development of maintenance engineering documentation and other logistics support.

  • Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

This position may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below.

This position may be filled asa Logistics or Principal LogisticsEngineer

Basic Qualifications for Logistics Engineer :

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in engineering or similar field (OR 0 years with Master's Degree); May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Basic Qualifications for Principal Logistics Enginee r:

  • Bachelor's Degree field and at least 5 years of experience in engineering or similar field (OR 3 years with Master's Degree, OR 0 years with PhD); May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Basic Qualifications for both Logistics Engineer and Principal Logistics Engineer:

  • Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.

  • Must have theability to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • Verbal, writing, presentation, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to travel 10%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the avionics field, and/or military C4I systems.

  • Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Experience using and/or developing technical manuals, preferably for military systems.

  • Familiarity with understanding logistics documentation, e.g. Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA).

  • Current Active Secret or higher level clearance.
