Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

The HALE programs seek a candidate to support the Vehicle Management System (VMS) Hardware Avionics team. The VMS Avionics Hardware group is responsible for vehicle flight control, guidance, and management of flight critical hardware consisting of the following VMS subsystems: Flight Control Actuation System (FCAS) and components, Vehicle Management Computer (VMC), Radar Altimeter (RadAlt), Air Data System (ADS), Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS), and Navigation. He/she will be responsible for system and subsystem design, requirements development and verification, system performance analysis, design of analysis tools, interface definition, software requirements, integration and test including flight test.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering along with 2+ years engineering experience including familiarity in electromechanical actuation systemsor a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years engineering experience including a familiarity in flight sensors. Active DoD Secret Clearance. Experience using MATLAB.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering along with 1+ years engineering experience including familiarity in electromechanical actuation systemsor a Master's in Mechanical Engineering including a familiarity in flight sensors. Active DoD Secret Clearance. Experience using MATLAB.
