What You'll get to Do:
The Field Return Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting a production line dedicated to triaging, repairing, and returning to service fielded communications equipment. Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
BS degree in Engineering or related STEM field with 2 or more years experience.
CAD design experience.
Capable with statistical analysis software.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Must be able to support 2nd or 4th shift work schedule.
US Citizenship required.
DoD Secret security clearance eligible.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP or other shop floor control system.
Knowledgeable in data structures and database programming.
Proficient in electronics equipment programming and maintenance.
