Northrop Grumman Contract Administrator 3 in San Diego, California
NG Mission Systems has an immediate opening in contract administration. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for direct handling of a proposal and contracts activities in support of the JSF F-35 CNI Production Program. Duties include RFP review, proposal preparation, development of contract terms and conditions, negotiation, review and coordination of various types of agreements (i.e. Non-Disclosure Agreements, Software License Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Teaming Agreements, etc.) and monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance. Positions include frequent customer interface, program/project review participation and contract closeout activities. Work with Contract Management, Program Managers, Business Management and others to meet contract requirements.
Minimum Requirements (i.e. candidate must be capable of performing the following tasks with minimal oversight):
Proposal preparation (RFP review through proposal submittal)
Contract negotiations (SOW, Specification, Terms & Conditions, Price)
Preparation and negotiation of NDAs, TAs
Bachelorâ€™s degree plus 6+ years previous experience in contracts, subcontracts, finance, project management or other business management functions or related work experience or Master's degree plus 4+ years previous experience in contract, subcontract, finance, project management or other business management functions or related work experience.
Will consider 10+ years of in contracts, subcontracts, finance, project management or other business management functions or related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Must have demonstrated track record dealing with government and/or commercial contracting and have a solid understanding of the FAR, DFARS and general contract principals. Must be highly productive in daily routine, shall demonstrate good oral and written communications skills along with strong computer literacy. Requires fully engaged team oriented individual capable working in fast paced environment.
