Job Summary: Calibrates electronic test measuring equipment and signal generating equipment to conform to set standards. Tests, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, hydro mechanical, and pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

  • 1-3 years or equivalent experience in a Manufacturing or Test Environment.

  • Basic knowledge of Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters and the ability to interpret schematic drawings.

  • Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Able to prioritize and adjust tasks simultaneously to accomplish the project result.

  • Able to analyze data to discover facts, knowledge, interpretations to carry out

  • prescribed action(s).

  • Able to apply technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts.

  • Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours and support occasional overtime work as needed.

  • Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.

  • Ability to validate and adjust precise measurements.

  • Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to frequently push a calibration cart to various on-site locations.

  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel and stoop to gain access to equipment and adjustments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more experience in an equipment calibration lab environment or equivalent

  • DoD clearance

  • A knowledge with usage of various Measuring and Test Equipment Calibration Standards.

  • Operation experience with vacuum, pressure, thermo-dynamic and optical measuring equipment is desired.

  • Familiarity with military and aerospace industry concepts, practices, procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • PML training is or equivalent is preferred.

  • Capable computer skills and experience with using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge to design formulas and macros

  • Knowledge of electronic equipment troubleshooting concepts and the ability to isolate issues down to the board level.

Salary Range: $61,700 - $102,800

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
