Northrop Grumman Cyber Architect 3/4- TS/SCI in San Antonio, Texas

As a Systems Architect, you will be: involved in the planning, testing, implementing, forensic analysis, and administration processes of information systems; a key player in supporting and evolving the processes, procedures and methodologies for implementing and executing exploitation analysis activities supporting a Cyber Protection Team (CPT); involved throughout all phases of the CPT mission including non-customary Systems Architect activities such as imbedded persistent threats and detection/emulation of adversary Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).

Responsibilities may include:

  • Documenting, reviewing, and assessing security installation requirements/recommendations, configuration processes, and potential/actual impacts

  • Develop/employ TTPs and methodologies regarding attack vector detection/replication and forensic analysis

  • Vulnerability detection, analysis, and remediation; penetration testing; incident handling, investigations, and response

  • Travel up to 50% with trips varying in length, as dictated by the customer

Basic Qualifications for level 3:

BS degree in related field with 5+ years of related experience, an additional 4 years of related work experience can be

substituted for the degree

Active TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge of computer security and networking fundamentals

BS degree in related field with 9+ years of related experience, an additional 4 years of related work experience can be

substituted for the degree

Active TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge of computer security and networking fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the following:

Information AssuranceA&A process

Critical protocols (e.g., IPSEC, AES, GRE, IKE, MD5, SHA, 3DES)

Network design processes, to include understanding of security objectives, operational objectives, and tradeoffs

OSI model and underlying networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP)

Operating systems (Linux / Windows / iOS / Android)
