Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 (2nd Shift) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Salt Lake City, Utah . The Salt Lake City facility has an on-site cafeteria, state-of-the-art fitness center, and a friendly casual work environment. In addition, the site follows an alternate 9/80 work week schedule for most positions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build and assemble components for use in precision instruments.
Perform fine detailed assembly with small parts.
Work to detailed instructions
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience.
Must be able to read, interpret, and follow standard procedures.
Ability to identify and solve problems.
Able to achieve J-STD-001 certification.
Must be available for 2nd Shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fine wire soldering experience is a plus.
Experience working under a microscope.
Good hand/eye coordination.
J-STD-001 soldering certification.
Salary Range: $38,600 - $64,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
