Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties. Manages Import, Exports and domestic shipments. Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting. Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations. Cleans parts, bag, tag and move parts in MRP System accordingly. Kitting and staging work orders for production. Performs cycle counts and recounts with team members.

Responsibilities:
Manages Import and Export documentation and logging.
Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment
(Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.
Clean parts, bag, tag and move parts in MRP System.
Kit and stage work orders.
Perform Cycle Counts.
This position may be filled at a level 1 or level 2.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 1: High School diploma or equivalent and 1 year additional education and/or related experience
Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Must be detailed oriented and have good communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Valid US Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
Import and Export knowledge
Working knowledge MRP Systems
Experienced/Certified user of a forklift and/or hand truck
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change
Able to lift 50 plus pounds & stand for long periods of time
Salary Range: $32,100 - $53,500
Salary Range 2: $38,200 - $63,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
